IB Learner Profile: Caring Thinkers
Caring: Throughout this unit you will be encouraged to empathize with the main character based on your own experience growing up in a post 9/11 United States. Using this empathy, you will be able to defend those still going through psychological trauma that resulted from 9/11.
Thinkers: First, you will discuss the ethical implications of government decision making in general based on prior knowledge or your own beliefs. Then, you will provide a logical argument for or against the government decision that occurs in the novel as well as government decisions that take place in our country.
