Below the daily plan, in smaller print, will be the required resource/ article/ video or worksheet that must be read or completed for that day. Journal: Catharsis: n. The process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions. Journal: It is 2015; the days of gender stereotypes and designated gender roles are over right? When it comes to male and female "roles", have times changed, or are there still tensions concerning how men an omen should act when it comes to education, jobs, marriage, etc.? Daily Analysis (15-20)Everyday in class we will be covering 1-3 poems. You are to annotate EACH of the poems in the packet but only complete ONE of the poems in the "4 Box Approach Template" given in class or listed below. I will be collecting 10 of your 4 Box Approach templates for a formative grade but you are expected to complete one each day in class.
Analysis Assessments (5)Out of the 24 poems we study in class, you are required to complete 5 poetic cue cards which will be an in depth analysis of those poems for a project/ paper grade at 20 points each for a total summative assessment grade of 100 points.
